What is a Medical Laboratory Technologist?
Medical laboratory technologists also known as clinical laboratory technologists also known as medical technologists are part of medical laboratory teams. When your doctor orders for blood or urine test, it is the clinical laboratory technologist who does the work.

How to Become a Medical Laboratory Technologist:
To become a medical technologist, you should first of all get a high school diploma or GED. You will then need to further your education by getting into a school that offers clinical laboratory science or technology program. Most of the program will be at the bachelor degree level. There are certificate programs, but these programs are for people already in the field and have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

If you get into a clinical laboratory technologist program, you can expect to take the following courses in a bachelor of science degree program:
